Iconic flower for Colombia, and exported around the world. Previously my least favourite, but Colombia has shown me how beautiful these flowers truly are. Available in a mind boggling array of colours - from ombre shades from deep purple to pale yellow. Now a firm favourite and look wonderful in stem vases in large quantities.

Colombian origin:

High altitude, cooler mountainous savanna region near the capital, Bogota.
